Don't let anyone tell you otherwise; it is an amazing performer and incredibly compact. Not to mention inexpensive... Who cares if such-and-such a 90mm is better? The 90 TE is capaple of taking great pictures and it is a joy to handle. If you get a lot of money later, get a super 90mm APO Aspheric monster and compare them - you may want to keep both as they suit different purposes. - - marc John R.
