Did you have a pair in mind that would be comparable? I'm not too up on the R lenses, I'm just getting into the Leica SLR world (who would have thought a Leitz lens would be made in Japan by Minolta?!? I never even liked Minolta...) Advice is very welcomed! So far, I have to say, the 70-210 has not proven itself to be even as nice as my Tokina ATX 80-200 (OM-mount), but I've only seen one roll with it, minilab prints at that, so we'll see when the chromes come back in.
