Their W series has always been good, from the samples I have used;
the A series has always sucked, the SW and SWS have been decent, but
not up to Super Angulon or Grandagon standards - which have been
raised lately - , the T series was generally poor and pointless, and
the C series is very good and has no competition. I still use one W
series lens from the 70's, and am quite happy with it's results and
limitations. In general the Japanese LF lenses have lagged behind
after their big push in the 70's, and recent Rodenstock and Schneider
lenses far surpass them.
