Although I have been a lurker for a while now, I have learned a lot from the regulars on the list. I am strictly an amateur, although I haven't mustered any courage to submit any of my photos to the PAW. That said, I learned to use a rangefinder on a Canon GIII QL17 and learned to use a Leica on my grandfather's IIIF BD. I am still learning. That said, and realizing most Leica folks would rather use available light, I occasionally use flash. I have had an M2 for about 2 years. When I got the camera, I couldn't get a flash to work, and replaced the adaptor plug (correct term?). Anyway, I was out yesterday shooting some pictures, and again I couldn't get the flash to work. I used the flash on another camera, and it worked like a champ., and conversely, other flashes still won't fire on the M2. Is the adaptor plug that vulnerable, or is there something else I should be looking at? Thanks in advance. Alice Kroehle - -- To unsubscribe, see http://mejac.palo-alto.ca.us/leica-users/unsub.html
