The cheap used dealers never existed. In LA, Samy's, BelAir, Claumet all carry used stuff ( and the Japanese all shop there so you can bet the prices are a bit high). In Orange County, use Cal's Cameras in Costa Mesa. Otherwise use a reputable mail order dealer. LA is not the cheapo nor partictularly well stocked neighborhood. There is a used camera swap in Buena Park on the third Sunday of the month. There are bargains to be had there....... about 9:30 AM for buyers.
