Well that's what Domke did, He was a photographer who needed a bag and
had one made up.
But he was a "he" and we are a diverse "We."

but bags designed for Leica M gear are different in specs from the ones
which tote modern SLR gear.
So the pickings are slimmer. It's harder to get just the right bag.

I don't find the pickings that slim.

If your into innocuous canvas then Domke.
Dressed up canvas Billingham.
An array of padded modern materials there is Lowe-Pro.

I'm bag obsessed and I'm now looking into a company which has not gotten
mentioned on the LUG in my memory

I like that stuff!
These guys invented the whole Niche they are in
Soft Case Technology
and are still the best at it.
And their product line is more diverse than you'd think.
A great mix of functionality and quality and innovation.
