Equally good at same apertures.....  Get the F1.4 if you absolutely need
that extra stop or want to use the minimal DOF with the 35.....  Remember
that film comes in differing ASA.. and getting a film with double the ASA is
the alternative to F1.4....

I had the F2 and finally got the F1.4... used the difference is only an
extra $400 or so.....  not too bad.....

Why an extra grand?   Because some of us will pay it.  No other reason.
