I can't keep batteries in them, because I never use them. hmmm, I'm tending to side with Mark Rabiner here. I take my M6 or my CL out. I almost always use the same film. The 35 Summicron is glued to the CL and the 90 mm TE on the M6. I know the film, I know the cameras, I know the lenses. I point and shoot. The CL fits in even my blazer pocket, but it is faster to use if it is in my hand. Point, brain works without me thinking about it, camera mostly focuses itself, because I don't think about that either, the needle gets set right, and I don't think about it. I only think about composing, and where the light is. Do you think about when to put the clutch in when you are driving? I don't have any modes to set. No shutter lag. Battery dead? f11 outside, 5.6 in the shade. Point, shoot. finish roll, process. Look at pictures. Some are not what I wanted. Throw them away. Reload, go point and shoot some more.
