i'm surprised, especially since the depth of field of the 35Ti,
even wide open, is a foot and a half at 6 feet!  you shouldn't really
need pinpoint focusing accuracy here.

my contax T2 definitely goes wild once in a while and focuses heaven-knows-
where.  but usually it does a pretty good job and 8x10s look very nice.
the 35Ti is supposed to be about the same performance.

maybe the 35Ti is not working at 100%?
