The shot could be sharper, but I realize how difficult it is to photograph a cat, based on my own feeble attempts. However, one thing that bothers me is that the image seems to have a greenish or magenta cast--I do not think it is my monitor, since other people's B&W shots look fine. Perhaps there is something about your scanning method that does this?
