I am curious to know why the 50mm frameline, according to the illustration, appears to fill the M3 viewfinder almost completely and seems to occupy a much larger proportion of the viewfinder than the 50mm frameline illustration for the M6TTL .85, as shown on the Leica web site. I realise that the magnification of the M3 is a bit more (0.92, if I'm not mistaken) but I wouldn't have thought it would make that much difference. Is it because the M3 viewfinder is smaller in area than the M6TTL?
