Good advice to follow.  

Having had both carpal tunnel and cubital tunnel surgery on my right arm
3 years ago, I can vouch for making sure your surgeon and physical
therapist [should you have to go that route] are top notch.  Though I
can no longer hold high-mag binocs without seeing slight shaking, I do
have 90+ percent use of my right arm and am grateful every single waking
moment for that.

Thank you, Trish.  My cable modem was down for 24 hours - frustrating!
