When I got my first M6-TTL I really liked the larger shutter speed dial, but I found that since it turned the opposite direction of previous Ms, I would get distracted when switching bodies. No, 'distracted' isn't the right word, but I hope you get my drift. I sold my 'classic' and now have three TTLs - one with each finder. People have been praising the R8's ergonomics, and I agree, it's great. I do not have large hands. But the very best thing about the R8 is that it works EXACTLY like my M6-TTLs. The shutter dial is in the same place and rotates the same way, and the meter display mimics the M6-TTL's arrows and dot - but with zones! I love it. I really don't like to think about the camera, and making the transition from rangefinder to reflex as transparent as possible is the selling point for me. BTW, even the f4 varios (35-70, 80-200) which are my only R lenses so far give a nice bright view in the finder, but I do wish I had some faster glass.
