My C*n*n G1 supposedly has one also but non-C*n*n flashes (or at least my old Metz and Sunpak) just won't fire. Ain't gonna fork out more cash for a 3rd flash unit just for the G1. Also my G1's lens looks suspiciously like the "Zeiss" lens on the Sony models and both have the same specs - this has been mentioned many times on the dpreview site. I wonder whether that's a real or re-badged Zeiss lens - the Sony doesn't say T* either. But I heard the Sony's (or at least the DVs) are made by Kyocera and if that's the case, perhaps the G1 has a Zeiss lens too. :) Looking at the Panasonic LC5, I don't think they had the outer design approved by Leica before putting it into production - unlike Kyocera and Zeiss. ;-) Different strokes.....
