Inspired - comes from the latin/italian "to breathe in". The nazis did
not inpire any great art, which came about in revulsion and fear of
them. That is not what "inspire" means. 

They inspired the architect Speer, and filmaker Leni Riefenstahl.  

Beatrice inspired Dante, she was his muse.
