Will it be months or >decades or never before the price of the M6 goes down? >David Degner David, Don't hold your breath. An AE M has been announced before (most recently when the last 0.58 M6 was being announced as a "new" M) but has never come out. I've also heard tell of a digital M, which has likewise never materialized. Leica may at some point bring out a new M camera, but I'd wait until it actually hit the shelves to believe it. If you need an AE M now, you should consider a Hexar; at least they're currently commercially available. Or you could just do what many M users have been doing for years: waiting, praying, cursing. Guy >>2) A new M camera will be officially introduced at February's PMA. No word >>on the >>final name, but all bettors say it will feature auto exposure within the >>familiar M >>body. > >-- >To unsubscribe, see http://mejac.palo-alto.ca.us/leica-users/unsub.html - -- To unsubscribe, see http://mejac.palo-alto.ca.us/leica-users/unsub.html
