For what its worth I got it too, same source.  I think the way this works is that the virus finds unread messages in your inbox and replies to them with the virus code attached.  Looks like Tony got bit.  Mine did not come through the list but was a reply to a post I left months ago.

Dear all,

my AV software has just alerted me to a file with the Badtrans virus.  I
think that it may have come from someone called Tony Salce.  Apologies to
Tony if this isn't actually the case.  Thank goodness for Norton Anti-Virus!
