Thanks all for the nice words. The cars, the costumes,
and the actors make for a very convincing recreation.

Although the IIIf and I are old friends it really was a lot of fun to take
it out and really give it a workout; especially challenging with the slow
film.

The Efke was developed in D-23 1:1. Most were from the second roll
developed at 7
minutes. The negatives were real contrasty and were
a bear to print. I have subsequently done some tests with shorter times and
a borax post
bath. Times for that method should be about 4-5 minutes in the D-23 1:1
with a 3 minute borax bath. Further testing should show whether the borax
is really needed. Tests in D-76 1:1 were equally contrasty at the
recommended times.
