Subject: Re: [Leica] Which caps for a 35MM Summilux?

It would help if you could tell us which 35/1.4 Summilux you have. The
current rear lens cap (14269) will work on all of the versions. The two
early versions of the Summilux 35 (E41 and series 7 in hood) takes an A42
slip-on front cap (the currently available 14268 will do nicely though there
are many earlier versions all with different numbers). The 35/1.4 Aspherical
and the 35/1.4 Asph take a rather ill fitting E46 clip-in front cap (14231).
There are three versions of the hood:12587 (Aspherical), 12588 (early Asph)
and 12589 (current Asph) which take the hood caps 14013, 14039 and 14040
respectively.

I think that covers it but knowing Leica, probably not...
