Subject: [Leica] Leicaflex SL light meter and shutter

This didn't go out the first time, so I'm trying again...

I am considering to by a Leicaflex SL that I have borrowed and I am
wondering:
1. The ligh meter seems to show wrong values (it's off about 3 steps). Is
this due to the batteries used (alkaline) when it should be mercury, and
can this make the meter function improperly or is the meter broken?
2. Is it possible to adjust the meter for the newer alkaline batteries and
in that case is that an expensive operation?
3. Is it possible to buy the equivalent of the old batteries?
4. When I change the shutter time between 1/60-1/1 sec after having advanced
the film there is an audible sound as if there are gears changing or
something in the camera (for lack of better words). Is this normal or is the
camera ill? Also in this interval 1/60-1/1 sec there is a sound when I
advance the film. Neither of these things are noticable when the time is
1/2000-1/60.
I would be very glad for any comments on this.
Thanks,
Dragi Anevski
