Probably faded Anscochromes were not your fault, Dale. As I recall,
Anscochromes all looked pretty faded from the start, even when handled and
processed with the best of conditions!

I agree. The Anscochromes were a different process than Ektachromes. I
remember two different processing machines for them back in the late '50's.
IMO, Anscochrome made its big splash when they came out with the first ASA
100 slide film. A slide was bound into each copy of Modern and Popular
Photography that month. It showed a blonde by candle light. Anscochrome was
a film with lower saturation than the Kodak films.
