Very strange as I many times (just look into the archives) thanked you for your kindness.
In eery mail message, personal or to LUD, I wrote 'thank to someone's kindness'.. and so
I also wrote to you a couple of letters thanking you for your gift; as a kind
of 'thank you' I was trying to photograph the best that I could.
I was making a lot of photos and posted them for streetphoto list;
I even helped Alastair to build up a FOM2 site... Doesn't matter.

Anyway, now situation is:
I gave one of IIIc to my friend just as you gave one to me; he is a Russian streetphotographer;
even poorer than I am; and I WILL NOT take it back.
Everything other: second IIIc body, Summitar, Family of Man Steichen's book,
Leica Repair Manual... I sent to you at iCOM address (423 Fourth Str, Annapolis, MD 21403)
as an insured package two hours ago. If you want second IIIc body
and Hektor back too, I will send you sum you specify to account
number you will give me; I won't probably have a lot of money
to send at once as I have now only this 200$, but I will pay
whole sum back in next year.

I am very grateful that you helped me when I had no single camera,
but, judging from your letter I see I shouldn't ever ask for help.

As for reasons why I seeked for M - I am making a lot of low-light
photography, as you can see even from my old site:
http://www.geocities.com/Stanislaw_Stawowy
and I can't focus with my poor sight in such conditions with IIIc.
Also; my standard lens is 35mm Jupiter 12 and IIIc doesn't have
a 35mm finder.
Someone suggested a Bessa; I see this is a good idea; now I will have
to wait if Steve will request a money for second IIIc body and Hektor.
If not, I will look for one

PS
I remember I sent some 500 kilograms of stuff, found with the help of
my friends from motorcycle club here, via Red Cross to Romania
after seeing Kyle's report and I have to confess that I never
asked Romanian children for sending me thanks; maybe this is a kind
of manners a 25 y. old in Poland has.

PSPS
Steve; I want to point out that I never asked you for giving me anything.
I asked on LUD if someone can borrow me a camera as mine was destroyed
in Kazimierz when I was shooting streets and found a street gang; you
sent me Leicas saying 'actually this is a gift..' but I NEVER asked
nobody for such a sacrifice; Now I gathered some money and, not knowing
how much a ugly M body costs, asked here IF someone have something like
this for sale for my 250$ - I know it is a funny sum of money, but actually
this is my monthly payoff - and please notice that I work for my,
my mother and my sisters living, so it was actually a kind of achievement.
But I am not asking anyone for anything.

Yours truly
