"which is better, Germany, Portugal, Canada etc." But in reality with a move of the Noctilux production to Germany there will undoubtedly be a flood of "Made in Canada" Noctiluxes on the market only because many will perceive the production moving to Germany the lens will be better. Which of course all normal Leica using human beings will understand that wont be the case at all. ;-) Made here or on the dark side of the moon the specs are the same ERGO: same lens no matter where it's assembled. Hell maybe we should buy up all the "Made in Canada" models and create a high cost demand for them when something screws up in the fatherland. ;-) ted Ted Grant Photography Limited www.islandnet.com/~tedgrant - ----- Original Message ----- From: "Jeff Moore" <jbm@oven.com> To: <leica-users@mejac.palo-alto.ca.us> Sent: Friday, November 09, 2001 1:38 PM Subject: [Leica] Re: Noctilux in Canada > 2001-11-09-15:47:53 Ted Grant: > > Can't you imagine the questions... > > > > "I want to buy a Noctilux and wondered if the version made in Germany is as > > good as the original made in Canada?" > > When they moved 75mm Summilux production, I made sure I hurried up and > got a Canadian lens while the getting was good.
