I just got home from attending Photo Expo Plus and wanted to report
that I seem to have found my perfect bag. I noticed that the British
CCS bags have now got a US distributor. I've long admired them from
adds in Practical Photography, but hesitated to order one, sight
unseen, from the UK. I ended up with an all black 'Lancaster' model
(the black model with tan leather looks even nicer, but ,IMHO,
screams "expensive--steal me!"). The bag was 10% off--$84.55--much
less than comparable Billingham bags @ B&H (I checked on the way
home).

Anyway, this little bag(160 mm X 230 X 120) holds 2 LTM bodies with 6
lenses (15, 28, 35, 50, 85, &135) plus their finders, filters, a
Voightländer clip on meter, and several rolls of film. (The meter is
mounted on a body as are my 35 & 50 with their finders). My previous
bag, a cheap no-name model, is at least 40% larger and holds the same
stuff). With an 'M' kit, there'd probably be room for only one body,
but this bag's ability to swallow equipment is incredible. It also
seems to be very easy to work out of with an unusual wide "Gladstone"
opening on top. Construction seems very similar to a Billingham bag
with high quality waterproof canvass and leather trim.

I know I shouldn't have started another bag thread, but I couldn't
resist--I'm sooo pleased with this one! BTW, I noticed that my
receipt reads "Pro4 Imaging Inc., Markham Ontario, but I guess
they've started a U.S. branch.
