The best available lenses in today's market are supposed to be the 2.8/40 JSK APO-Componon and the 2.8/50 Rodenstock APO-Rodagon; the 4/45 JSK APO-Componon might be even better, but no one seems to have conducted a rigorous test of this lens. Erwin swears by the 2.8/40 APO-Componon and it has the advantage that it will replace the 2.8/40 Focotar-WA without upsetting the autofocus on the V-35.
