I have seen equipment rated as excellent that I could find no marks on. I have also seen equipment rated as excellent that I could find no signs of the original finish on. The first thing to do is RELAX. Do not take it personally. Make sure you have a liberal return policy and, if you are not happy, send it back as soon as possible. If you are buying used, DO NOT EXPECT A NEW ITEM WITH FULL WARRANTY. If you want an item to last as long as a new one and to have a generous warranty, then buy a new item. Do not buy used and then complain because it is used. I have bought many used items and anything over five years old I always send out for a CLA period. Tamarkin has a good reputation and I have dealt successfully with KEH many times. John Collier > From: urizen@telocity.com > > How are Tamarkin to deal with on used gear?
