There really isn't any mystery here -- but the editors of VIEWFINDER have not been subject-matter experts since Hooper was, well, caused to leave the job. LHSA is a collectors' organization which publishes a newsletter with embarrassing errors on collectible points. Now, if LHSA would restructure itself as the "Leica Photographers Association" that would be a totally different thing.
