I almost bought an LTM 35 Summicron but couldn't quite pull the trigger. I
guess for me LTM is the place to experiment...old Leitz cameras & lenses,
Zeiss war-time rarities, post-war Soviet copies, early Nikon & Canon
designs, the new Cosina Voigtländer products, etc. (Now some of these
experimentation lenses have displaced former "keepers" in my bag of
essential gear, but that's a whole nuther story.) A 35 'cron seems like the
odd man out in such company. If you're serious enough about Leica glass to
consider buying a current Summicron you probably also own an M camera (or
are about to buy one)...and so would logically get the M version of the
lens.
