I believe Ted Grant has had some nice things to say about this lens. And the 2.8/25 is no slouch, nor is the 1.4/35. But Leitz/Leica have NEVER even had the slightest idea of attempting to match the two Mirotars. These magnificent optics are unparalleled -- though wannabe owners can get a large chunk of the performance at a reasonable price in a SPS MTO, doing the appropriate T-Mount Quickstep.
