iMovie ultimate slide show software wish list:

1) Allow unscaled still image import
2) Provide SMIL 2.0 and HTML+TIME export options:
--Case 1: Still slide show - export as SMIL 2.0, HTML+TIME, or QT
--Case 2: Hybrid slide show - export as QT only

Still slide shows should be easy to export as SMIL. Hybrid slide shows,
where you transition between stills and video clips will be more difficult
to handle in SMIL. Among other things, I'm not yet clear on whether SMIL
2.0 transitions other than straight cuts would work between stills and video
clips. So, to make it simple, just limit the export options for hybrid
presentations.

These changes to iMovie would seem to be a consistent with Apple's
direction, assuming they are going to provide SMIL 2.0 support in QT
sometime soon.
