On our McBeth/Greyscale chart at work we have something called a
"Calcutta Box".
It's a small, open ended box that is lined with black velvet and glued
to the chart.
Gives a pure black when the chart is shot in pretty much any lighting
condition.
Unfortunatly I have no idea where the name came from.
