Subject: [Leica] Focomat IIc Question

After getting my Focomat IIc enlarger set up in my darkroom I noticed that there
are two stubby legs in the back that don't touch the table on which the enlarger
sits. Underneath the baseboard are two rigid supporting members in the shape of an
inverted V with the open end toward the operator. On either side at the front
(operator's side) are two rubber feet. At the back (underneath the column) are two
more rubber feet, but spaced much more closely together. Outboard of these at the
back are what look to be 1 1/2" dowels which form legs but which are too short to
reach the table. Since these legs don't provide support, the enlarger is somewhat
unstable.

If you're familiar with the IIc, then all this explanation is unnecessary. What is
supposed to provide support under the stubby legs? Is it just a case of missing
feet or is there something more? Anyone with a IIc want to look at their machine
and tell me what's there?

Thanks,
Will
