Mark,
    Yes, I did amass my Leicavits before they became the latest in grossly
over priced Leica collectibles.
    Currently, my M4s and M6s are modified to accept the original Leicavit
and using Tom's would require
further modification to make Tom's Rapidwinders work on my cameras.
    I have had an occasional problem, which was always (knocking on wood)
fixed.
    Lastly, the most important non-photographic reason for using "real"
Leicavits is it gives me something to needle Tom about.
