Thanks, Mark.  When I was in the shop today, I asked the owner which lens he
would use, given the choice of one lens.  He suggested the 100 Elmerit.  I
opted for the 35 Summicron because I was used to that view in my M6.

Once I left the shop and was sitting in my car I realized I had make a
mistake.  The R is meant for photography that the M is not designed to do.
Macro work, portraiture, telephoto shots.  So I went back in and exchanged
the 35 'cron for the 100 'rit.
