Yes, congratulations and welcome.

And regarding Leicas for new borns:
A dear friend of mine, and avid grouse hunter, just became a
first time grandfather. He had a matched pair of Vintage Browning
shotguns; a 12g and 20g. The same day that "Mac" was born the
matched 16g arrived. He was able to convince the family that he
bought it for Mac and that Mac said he could use it for the next
12 - 15 years.

Worth a try :)
