There are some folks that just have a knack of pissing-off other folks. And
I really do not believe it is on purpose.

Perhaps it is the way that they phrase what they say. Or the words they
use. George and Ted seemed to have gotten off on the wrong foot but I know
that it was simply in the semantics.

If we have known someone for a long time and know their ways, they seem to
be able to say anything and we will accept it without any prejudice. And
depending upon who's answering, a kick in the teeth and a wink is accepted.
I can call Ted a crotchety old fart, and he will laugh. Probably because
I'm one too. But if someone not well known says this... well... stand back!

If you read some of the things I say, Marc Small says, Ted says, Mark
Rabiner says, BD says... etc... and you have no experience with us/these
folks, you could easily get all fired-up and become hostile. We all have
HOT buttons. Anyone want to discuss UV filters? ;)

But then there are those who simply want to argue. Argue and argue and
argue ad nauseam! Peter Kostin...(?) comes to mind. He told me privately
that he grew up in the Bronx and it was just his demeanor. He didn't last
long on the LUG as he could not carry on a civil conversation.

Anthony acts like that old psychiatric program that no matter what you
typed in, it made a benign statement about what you said and then asked
another mundane question. This may just be Anthony. I haven't read any of
Anthony's stuff as I have had him blocked since a year or two ago when he
was here doing the same thing. But I see the LUG-at-large responses. And it
just seems like there are a lot of you out there that have not yet realized
that it is a battle that you cannot win. While you are steaming and
stewing, Anthony is laughing.

So everybody take a deep breath.

Count to ten.

And then go out and take pictures. Leave the UV filters at home... :)
