I have a slow 135/4.5 Hektor LTM lens that I got a while ago, but I still have no 135 finder for it. (I'm looking and have a virtually unused Bogen 3021s for partial trade/sale if anyone is interested?) Anyhow, I thought about the twin eye pieces on my little Leica IIIc and thought the other day that the RF window seemed like it may just be the right size for the 135 view. So I tried it out. What I discovered is that at a distance of about 100 ft or greater, the RF window of the IIIc is pretty darn close to for passable framing for the 135. It isn't the perfect solution and I still want a brightline (or universal) finder, but it will work in a pinch and I thought I'd pass it on. Carpe Luminem, Michael E. Berube http://www.GoodPhotos.com
