According to Erwin info (http://www.imx.nl/photosite/leica/overview/listm.html) , and many books, this lens was first produced in 1976. But according to source many times published on LUG : Lens serial number source: Identifying Leica Lenses, Ghester Sartorius, 1999, ISBN 0-8174-4027-5 ... 2 731 901 - 2 761 100 1975 ... this lens is from 1975. Who is right? Did Leica, in that time, follow car sellers behavior: they sell 2002 models in 2001 year?
