I don't know whether I've laughed so hard in my entire life about this word
of advice but George is right.

Unfortunately, what happens if you drive like a red Pinto which looks crappy
and there is a Leica R8 body color to go along with it???? hee hee...

This really depends on your mode of transportation. If you use a
fully chromed Harley Davidson for your primary mode of getting
around for your shoots - you'll want to get the chrome body. On
the other hand if you use one of the understated four wheeled
vehicles with the plastic bumpers - you'll want to go with the
black version. Likewise if you go with the fully chromed folding
bicycle - chrome R8. If you go with the black Trek bike - black
body. It all comes down to how you look as you leave the vehicle
and raise the camera to your eye. You want to give off a feeling
of consistency to your subject as you approach them from your
vehicle.
