do you ever _need_ to shoot at f/1? :-) :-) :-)
but to answer your question, the exposure was at 1/125 and 1/250, so
there was sufficient light for f1.4 or f2 at an EI of 640.
the lighting was ample, but very uneven, and poor in quality--a series of
spotlights in cans shooting harsh direct light straight down. at least
there was some diffused lighting from the walls.

p.s. funny thing is after giving people at work the link to the page yesterday,
no one seemed to recall anyone taking photographs during the event!
