Subject: [Leica] First version of "King of the Night"

I just got a 50/1 first version with removable hood. There are two things
which I do not understand:
1. Why the 50/1 can be separate into two parts? Can it be attached to
Visoflex system with proper adapter!?
2. The Dof (deep of field) scale looks like 16 11 8 | 4 | | 1 /\ 1 | | 4 | 8
11 16. What kind of aperture do the two lines describe, close to value 1?
As I know between 1 and 4 we have 1.4, 2, 2.8 then we should have three
indicator lines not two!?

Thanks,
Victor
