Did something just happen with mercury PX625 batteries?

One local store that had them no longer displays them on the shelf (in
Ottawa, Canada).  I just saw a web ad that says their batteries are
"final manufacturing run".  Did the global production of these batteries
just cease?

What are people doing, in these categories:

1)  Leicaflex SL2 users

2)  Leica M5 users

3)  Gossen Meter users
