The only Salgado book/body of work I really like is Other Americas - and while I enjoy looking at his later ones, I find much of it too theatrical or operatic in feel - rather like a lot of St. Ansel's landscapes - in fact, I find much more similarity between St. Sebastian and St. Ansel than comparing with say Nachtwey or HCB or McCullin or whoever. Maybe in another 50 years time or so, a very very old Vicky Golberg will write an article helping to re-establish Salgado's work...? Tim
