Subject: [Leica] CLE

I love my CLE. Compared to my M2/3/4s it has a great
meter. If I want, I can slip the Voigtlander meter
into the shoe or use a hand-held as I often do for the
other meterless Ms.

Where it shines is in point-and-shoot grab shots, and
I have never had an unusable exposure on neg film with
it. Mind you, after years of shooting news, I have a
sixth sense about meter-fooling lighting and will
compensate with the very-handy compensation dial
around the shutter release.

And let's all remember that the 90/2.8 lenses work
fine for most use - just not at f2.8 and/or up close.

No - it's not an M-Leica, and neither is a CL. And you
can't tell by looking at the resulting pictures.

<I strongly advise against a CLE. The meter is a
total
averaging
meter with no meter lock.>
