I had a private e-mail exchange with a well-known wildlife photographer who hadn't ever heard of the 400mm Telyt and insisted that his new-tech (sponsor's) lens was the only one capable of violating the 1/(focal length) rule for hand-held photos with long lenses. Rather than waste my time arguing with him I went outside and made more pictures.
