Doesn't matter.

I've seen screw mount lenses that are nearly 1/4 turn off, even with 
Leica brand adapters or on Leica LTM bodies.

On the other hand, I prefer things to line up nicely as well, so 
Voigtländer lenses that I've acquired get mounted on the adapter 
rings and then I check where they line up. If they line up at 11:55 
or so (which is what they seem to start out at) I just use them for a 
bit, and shortly they wind up at 12:00. Then I use a bit of the blue 
Loktite to hold them in place. This doesn't work of course if you 
need to unscrew them regularly.
