Try it first as you may still have problems seeing the whole frame with your glasses. Leica issued some of their modern lenses in screw mount and also made a new 35mm finder. This finder was based on the 28mm finder's optics and so had very good eye-relief. It is out of production now and not very common but would be perfect for your situation. I am sure that others will chime in with more good advice.
