I use the finger method for 35mm. I give the negs a one minute swish in
distilled water with a drop of Photoflo. I then attach the film to one
of the film clips hanging from a horizontal wire running just below the
ceiling across the end of the darkroom. Then I give the film a quick
downward swipe with the film between my thumb and forefinger. A spring
loaded wooden clothespin gets clipped to the bottom of the film to keep
the film straight while it dries.
