It is probably best to search the archives on this one as opinions vary. The
non-asph is the bokeh king with smooth transitions IN THE MIDDLE APERTURES.
If you shoot wide open and demand relatively even sharpness across the
field, then the Asph is the one for you. Go here to see what one expert
