The money _may_ be an issue if you can find one for sale, but the 
real problems are:
1. It's fixed focus (no helicoid or rangefinder coupling
2. It has no diaphragm. f/1 is what you see and what you get
3. It obscures the viewfinder (It's about 4 inches across and 5 inches long)
4. It is rather heavy. All this talk of the 50/1 being heavy.... WIMPS!!!
